Then, when the genders came in, I realized it's about attraction, magnetism, and that dopey look some people get when they see someone they want!!

My two cents. Loved it! The inspiration for this poem was a lovely lady who goes straight to ‘high beam’ when she smiles. Not a high beam, as in a laser that will cut through steel, a high beam like an open furnace, with a radiant warmth that melts butter. Certainly has that affect on me.

And in answer to the obvious next question: No, appreciation, not infatuation.J Cosmo Newberyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04459976320205444628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30233877.post-77529460891629165772012-06-25T09:37:09.216+10:002012-06-25T09:37:09.216+10:00wonderful!wonderful!Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15349928247626849914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30233877.post-19381897372960363962012-06-25T07:23:17.462+10:002012-06-25T07:23:17.462+10:00I want to know what the metaphor is alluding too ....I want to know what the metaphor is alluding too ....???

xxxred dirt girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12939283533222061484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30233877.post-71072405182156715822012-06-25T02:53:14.401+10:002012-06-25T02:53:14.401+10:00Like a rabbit in the night, without the will for r...Like a rabbit in the night, without the will for running. lines or lines or linesKodjo Deynoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01299996598769756878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30233877.post-24402823909376492032012-06-25T01:39:16.568+10:002012-06-25T01:39:16.568+10:00I like "nothing is as it seems"......I like "nothing is as it seems"......Sherry Blue Skyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10769154286598233146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30233877.post-67025224658186506662012-06-25T01:15:40.425+10:002012-06-25T01:15:40.425+10:00Excellent rhyme in this.
