A blokey addition to the previous post,
Built on Dorothea Mackellar's verse
beginning 'I love a sunburnt country'.
Please don't get excited, I do eat salads in real life.
I shun a well-dressed salad,
A mix of greens and beets;
Of grated carrot dressings;
Of things a rabbit eats.
I love a hot steak sandwich;
I love a chicken breast;
But never let it be forgot
A well-browned chop is best.
A mix of greens and beets;
Of grated carrot dressings;
Of things a rabbit eats.
I love a hot steak sandwich;
I love a chicken breast;
But never let it be forgot
A well-browned chop is best.

Garlic bread is not a salad.
ReplyDeleteNext thing you will be telling me is that tomato sauce isn't a vegetable.
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I would take either a chicken breast or a steak before I would delight in a chop!
ReplyDeleteYou quit it! Your making me hungry :P
ReplyDeletenice...love cooking on the grill...it tastes so much better...only thing better is over open flame...and yeah you made me hungry too....
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteAustralia Day partying tonight
i've been asked to bring coleslaw
i hate coleslaw
hope someone takes something i like!
Love it!
ReplyDeleteFar better than the meat ads I've seen on TV (or the BBQ ads for that matter!) Maybe a career in copy-writing beckons..?
My brothers don't like vegetables, claiming that they go on a plate as a garnish to make the meat look even better. Potato and tomato are however honourary meats. Their vegetarian sister despairs.
ReplyDeleteLOL I love it! I always pick the salad, though. Your post made me hungry too, and it's not BBQ weather here.
ReplyDeleteI love my vegetables, a BBQ would not be complete without some salad. :)
ReplyDeletexoxoxo ♡
Sorry- but I eat only rabbit food!
ReplyDeleteOh, and happy Australia Day!
ReplyDeleteI can live on salads. Salads make me feel healthy.Somehow I tend to take other foods and less of salads. Funny isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHank
Excellent!
ReplyDeleteAll good things, I say :)
