941 - Gone Cuckoo

Sunday Scribblings 2 prompt: forbidding

Gone Cuckoo

Convicted porridge thief, Miss Goldilocks,
Wore flannel nightgowns and thick socks.
Her forbidding stare
Could curl your hair
And scare the cuckoos out of their clocks.

Our mornings were greeted with shock
