CCLXII - Worldwide Fame

.

.Mad Kane has a regular limerick challenge.
She provides the first line, the rest is up to us.

A fellow was famous worldwide
For the women he took in his stride.
He’d woo them and bed them
But certainly not wed them:
He just went along for the ride.

A fellow was famous worldwide
For a habit that few could abide.
While he insisted it legal
To have sex with a beagle
It’s now up to a judge to decide.

A woman was famous worldwide
For a coat that was made from the hide
Of a husband she’d caught
In a naked cavort
With a saucy little piece on the side.

  1. FUNNY!! Love love the beagle pic. But I certainly relate more to the woman's point of view .... though, ugh, a human hide coat??

  7. Cosmo,
Ever the witty offerings from you. From comments in my blog when I posted Limericks, many 'confessed' not willing or able to do limericks. I wonder why?

  9. What a fun trio of limericks! Thanks so much for your delightful contributions to my Limerick-Offs!

I've belatedly posted a new Limerick-Off, in case you haven't seen it yet. (I was traveling and had minimal net access for over a week.)

  12. I'll try this again - last comment vaporized or something.

I love the beagle's optimism or is that supplied by the rose-colored glasses? :)

It's good to be back, but I see you've been absent for a while. I hope all is well!

  13. A fellow was famous worldwide
For penning some words on the side
In the guise of an egg
    Sometimes showing some leg
Has the curate gone into a hide?

Mr. Newberry, excellent, as usual but I wonder have you murdered the curate?
