CDIV - The Equations of Emotion

Three Word Wednesday challenges us to write a piece using three given words.
This week the words were ‘cause’, ‘implicate’ and ‘stretch’.

The Equations of Emotion.

Cause and effect.
Action and reaction.
Clichéd.  We all know it.
Newton wrote equations for it.
Einstein extrapolated them.

Cause and effect.
Action and reaction.

Cause and affect.
They are also action and reaction.

And our emotions react in strange ways and
Implicate others when they, and we, least expect it.

It is no stretch of the imagination to say that
Cause and affect may be a more potent
Than cause and effect.

But it is not reducible to equations.

Just to parabolic flights of fancy.

    2. Serf's serf! Knave's knave! You are being nothing that is more than a sidekick's sidekick! What right have you to question the divine opinion of a Princess? I am being able to be recognising pap when it is bing presented to me on a plate that is being designed for that purpose! May Phart, the malodorous god of social discomfort make your day a misery!

  6. I'll probably implicate myself by saying this...but it takes no stretch of one's imagination so see that's very good!

  7. Who? me? I am told I am a knave's knave. Is rebelliousness possible for such a person?

  8. When it's a brave knave I crave
Let he be rebellious and anonymous
But he must be dashingly courteous
Although he need not always behave

  12. It's amazing the effect even little things can have, a few words maybe, leading to sleepless nights, and "parabolic flights of fancy".
    It all makes life interesting!
