CDXXV - She Murmured Thanks

Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week were echo, soft and hardship.

She Murmured Thanks

Like the echo
Of a satisfied cat
She murmured her thanks
As he caressed her,
Softly, tenderly,
Neck,
Back,
Down her flanks…

It was no great hardship.

But it was just a prelude
To the spanks.
