Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week were: cunning, degenerate and emaciated.
Born to Rule
There’s a kind of
smugness there;
A cunning smirk
or two.
A high sense
of entitlement,
With ribbons,
regal blue.
Not coy,
They ignore
the hoipolloi,
Intent
To rule
by selling fears
Backed by
degenerate affairs
And emaciated ideas.

Hank
Bronwyn Bishop should be made Queen of Australia and then Bill Shorten could get another divorce and marry her youngest daughter !
ReplyDeleteFortunately I am a peasant. And glad to be one.
ReplyDeleteSame here with me, EC....'
ReplyDeleteI find it pleasant to be a peasant with a bit of class; maybe it's also pleasant being a pheasant, but perhaps not one under glass.
All to do with the pecking order?
DeleteGlad to see the last photo has moved off the head of your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love this. There's an abundance of emaciated ideas floating around.
ReplyDeleteAh, the joys of free speech, being able to choose the least worst corrupt incompetents.
ReplyDeleteThe year is 1776. The news of the American revolution needs to be shared with the king.
ReplyDeleteCourtier: Sire, the American colonists are revolting.
George III: They certainly are!
Variations on a theme.
Peace and joy, JC
Emaciated ideas indeed. Ironically, that's what seems to be the norm these days.
