Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week are: tearful, unsteady and abrasive.
Abrasive and loud,
Yet it seems to work for him.
What is he thinking?
A giant ego
With an unsteady mind and hand—
Could push the button!
A power junkie—
This could be the tearful end
To a beautiful world.

Another elegant depiction of what I am feeling. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteTrump that!
ReplyDeleteEveryone's watching closely to see how the politics plays out!!
ReplyDeleteI think that's how those egos are doing.
ReplyDeleteAnd the rodents shall inherit the earth - i think they could do a lot better than a certain trump with matching hair
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
ReplyDeleteFor centuries (possibly longer) we have had Lemmings attitude with regard to politics happy to swarm over the cliff into disaster following trumped up leaders thinking only for themselves. I don't think many poets are leaders of nations...more's the pity.
ReplyDeletepolitics in haiku, very crafty
ReplyDeletehave a good Sunday
much love...
This poor hamster does not deserve that depiction! Poor little thing.
ReplyDeletevery well done...
ReplyDeleteOh this HAS to be Donald Trump. I cant believe a caricature is running for office and that people are actually supporting him. If he wins we can kiss our collective asses goodbye.
ReplyDeleteCan I guess who this is about! Especially with the title....so many in politics have this attitude....'I can change the world to my making and liking; do you know who I am!'
ReplyDeletethis had me laughing quietly to myself. it's so funny and well-done. haha. thanks.
ReplyDeletewho knows..maybe a good food brings him in balance....
ReplyDeleteHa. Love this, though it scares me. Good writing.
ReplyDeleteI'm wishing more poet type people would run for office.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth
That trump-sized ego is terrifying!!
ReplyDeleteThis is very good.
ReplyDeleteIt can have such an influence!
ReplyDeleteHank
I love these tongue-in-cheek reflections.
ReplyDeleteGood thoughts... I'm scared with the "potential Button Pushers"
ReplyDeleteZQ
Ah, so like those striving for power, frightened little rodents who will eat us alive!!!
