953 - Not Just Denmark.

Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week are:

halting, far-fetched, and gamy.

Not Just Denmark.

Is the Armageddon ahead?
A bit far-fetched, perhaps,
But is there a way of halting
The successive mishaps
That seem,
As if a dream,
A wound we can’t ignore:
The gamy smell of something dead
Pervades the corrider.

  1. "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark."
    - Shakespeare, Hamlet, Act 1, Scene 4.

  2. Despite mankind's foolishness over the millenia we are still here. We do test our luck though but I cant think of a better place to be than Oz.

  3. A rotten week indeed in politics.

  4. Sigh.
The Zombie apocalypse is not usually one of my fears. This week? Those I thought dead are striding ahead.

  5. "something is rotten in..."

You've come this far - thank you.
Take your time, look around,
There is lots to see.
