871 - Bits & Pieces

Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week are: enchanted, fanatical and giddy.

A state of your mind:
To seek out the enchanting,
To avoid the dross.

“Oh my giddy aunt!”
Swearing in a gentler age.
The intent’s the same.

The fanatical—
They come from all the extremes:
Social outliers.

  1. These bits and pieces feel like a tapestry..nudging at borders..if we take enchantment, giddiness and fanatical to an extreme the intent may well be less benign

  2. Fanatism seems to grow like weed in gardens or on landfills.

  3. You have captured fanatical as it is!

  4. Such a powerful write..!

Makes me wonder if all three are telling one connected story...

  6. I am especially worried by the fanatical...........I love the gentler swearing. I remember those days.

  7. Each holds its share of wit, wisdom and observation.

  8. Love the second.
    Fear the third.

  9. Love the different themes: the deep wisdom of the first, the commentary weaving into the third... and the serious playfulness of second, which happens to be my favorite.

  10. Creating an enchanting personal world and keep clear of the dross is the way to go !

You've come this far - thank you.
Take your time, look around,
There is lots to see.
