CCCXXXV - Starting to rue.

Mad Kane has a regular limerick challenge.
She provides the first line, the rest is up to us.

A fellow was starting to rue
His decision to visit Peru.
It wasn’t the scenery,
It was the odd cuisinery:
Alpaca soup and Guinea-Pig stew.

  1. I cannot imagine eating Guinea pigs either but, I cannot imagine eating snail and frogs legs, or a sheep's eyes, but, when in Rome I guess. I would prefer to go hungry...haha

  2. Awwww, I could never eat a guinea pig! They are sooooooo cute (even though I am dreadfully allergic to them).

  3. I had one in Equador. The people there raise them the same way we would raise chickens.

  4. Ha. I was going to say that it's in Ecuador that people roast guinea pigs... guess you beat me to the punch.

So .. did it taste like chicken? I was offered rattlesnake to eat when I was a child and was told it 'tastes like chikkin' ... No. I didn't bite.
