1022 - A Titanic Disaster.

Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week are:

crisis, decayed, embarrassment.

A Titanic Disaster.

Crisis? What crisis?
The media is lying,
There is no ice-berg.

An embarrassment.
A cause for public concern.
When will we be safe?

It can’t be decayed—
It is still so very new.
Yet there is a smell.

  2. Perfect! Interesting that the supposed witch hunt is about things actually being said and done. Argh.

  4. I love what you did with the iceberg. That's perfect. And then in the end, I personally perceive the scent to be ice, "up close and personal." By the time you smell it, it's too late; you're about to hit it.

  7. Denying is always harder afterwards... but then it's way too late.

  8. Beautiful, subtle, immensely clever depiction of the elephant in the room.

This is very interesting. Take away the title and this whole thing takes on a different meaning.

  11. I agree this is a very clever piece of social commentary/political satire. Really if I wasn't living through these 'crazy days' I don't think I could ever have imagined the current brand of 'leadership' - at the helm of a free country. But, not to worry, apparently it's all fake.

  12. Yes this is a great write. Lets hope we are not too complacent over the next few months as it looks a bit 'iffy' all over the world.

You've come this far - thank you.
Take your time, look around,
There is lots to see.
