Mad Kane poses a regular limerick challenge.
The key word this week is ‘wave’.
The One That Got Way.
There was an old sailor named Dave
Who’d never been near to a wave.
He just sat on the pier,
Drinking tankards of beer,
And boasting of the fish that he’d saved.

and as he lay stonkard on the pier
ReplyDeletea wee lassie crawled up to his side
she whispered sweet nothings in his ear
he awoke with a gasp and a bride
He Thought She Was Saying Hi (limerick)
ReplyDeleteOh hearken to tale of a knave
Who couldn’t teach eyes to behave
Soon spun at the neck
Teeth hitting the deck
As face was deflecting a wave
Excellent write!!
