Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week were: absurd, groan and weak.
A Bleak Future
It’s madness.
A policy absurd.
A fascist dream.
One pretty dumb;
To think the poor
Can live on less,
And less,
And less,
Infinitum.
Most bleak—
The old,
The poor,
The sick
The weak,
Transgress
The party purist’s view;
Are chastised
If a groan is heard;
Knuckle down,
Just make do,
Get by,
Struggle,
And survive,
Or try,
While blessed
With leaders who are,
Inter alia,
Fools
And cruel
And lowly bred
Genitalia.

ReplyDeleteSadly the antics of our parliamentarians can only be curbed by the voting box. They think they have achieved an untouchable status. Sadly we do not control them as they govern only for themselves. It is almost time for revolution!
