Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week are: radiant, painstaking, queasy.
Less than Radiant
Late night souvlaki
An easy meal, going home,
Nothing painstaking.
◊
Three in the morning,
That queasy feeling inside—
A sense of unease.
◊
A white toilet bowl
Being closely examined.
Odd brand: Radiant.

Oh dear. I think most of us have driven that bus.
ReplyDeleteflush with success in your three word wednesday - wonderful observations succinctly regurgitated
ReplyDeleteOh my, I think this is a path we've all travelled -- you do so with brilliance. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a while to figure out what I was seeing in the picture! I think you enjoy delivering the unexpected.
ReplyDeleteI puzzled over the picture too. All too familiar with that queasy feeling (shouldnt that be a song?) LOL.
ReplyDeleteThe second is so realistically typical for most people!
ReplyDeleteHank
Gritty realism, huh?
ReplyDeleteYikes! I am a recovering bulimic, so this was too familiar, lol. Cos, the simple truth of indigestion? Yeah, you captured it! Amy
ReplyDeleteOh my... I can relate. Great use of three words
ReplyDeleteUh oh!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I find the brand names of bathroom items interesting. So many opportunities to visit the name of the company that makes the toilet paper dispenser, for example. And then (in my case, anyway) the intriguing word is forgotten until the next visit.
You poetize like I felt last night.
