Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week were aggressive, heighten and limited.
Best served cold.
Things can be thrown aggressively
And bridges can be burnt;
In the process the mind shuts down—
No lessons can be learnt.
Sadness follows from this madness
Around a limited sense of right.
Revenge is taken progressively
Which heightens the delight.

ReplyDeleteSo, are you telling me that you haven't learned anything from the people who threw things at you and burnt bridges? That you haven't gone tit for tat?
ReplyDeleteTeat for tat?
DeleteRevenge is a dish which is served far too often - albeit disguised as 'justice'.
ReplyDeleteyes revenge is followed by pain and sorrow
ReplyDeleteAcqueiscence is followed by regret and misery.
ReplyDeleteRevenge is best walked away from with not a backward glance..
