629 : Best served cold.

Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week were aggressive, heighten and limited.

Best served cold.

Things can be thrown aggressively
And bridges can be burnt;
In the process the mind shuts down—
No lessons can be learnt.
Sadness follows from this madness
Around a limited sense of right.
Revenge is taken progressively
Which heightens the delight.

  1. Thank you for stopping by. Yes! I do like this and yes burnt bridges and revenge! What an aggressive two this make. Blessings

  2. So, are you telling me that you haven't learned anything from the people who threw things at you and burnt bridges? That you haven't gone tit for tat?

  3. Revenge is a dish which is served far too often - albeit disguised as 'justice'.

  4. yes revenge is followed by pain and sorrow

  5. Neville ChamberlainNovember 15, 2013

Acqueiscence is followed by regret and misery.

  6. Revenge is best walked away from with not a backward glance..

You've come this far - thank you.
Take your time, look around,
There is lots to see.
