Haiku Heights has the prompt "Swing".
Swing
I.
Higher and higher,
The laughter of young children,
Gravity defied.
II
Be very careful
Or the pendulum of life
Swings back to hit you.

Oh great haiku I love what you did here with the carefree image of childhood in contrast to the pressures and worries of adulthood
ReplyDeleteVery well said Cosmo, The carefree childhood has swung by to make way for changing times, loved both the Haiku :)
ReplyDeleteI especially like the first one. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the 'karmic' resonance of the second haiku.
