Three Word Wednesday requires participants
to use the three words of the week in a composition.
The words this week were: bond, grumble, painless.
Two Halves.
What is it
That creates a bond,
A bridge,
A meeting of minds?
What permits
An intersecting
Of Souls
Of different kinds?
We agree
That it’s not easy.
Reflecting,
We grumble
But accept
It’s not painless
But see beyond
To where
Memories
Are kept.

Sweet! I like the sentiments so eloquently stated here and, of course, the strawberry.
ReplyDeleteMuch less snarky than I have grown to expect from you - and equally polished and skilled.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Maybe.
DeleteDefinitely. No snark involved in my comment.
Delete"You may seek it with thimbles — and seek it with care;
DeleteYou may hunt it with forks and hope;
You may threaten its life with a railway-share;
You may charm it with smiles and soap —"
No snark found!
I am pleased you have found a strawberry half in the crushed fruit daiquiris of life
DeleteEnough crushed strawberry daiquiris will have you seeing beyond memories and all manner of things:)
Would you prescribe a hickory daiquiri, Doc?
Deletehickory dickery doc
